La Taverne Megève

Re-construction of a restaurant after fire damage, in collaboration with Pierre Duclos, Architecte DESA. The new restaurant is built on the exact footprint of the previous building. The wall structure is in concrete, clad in old wood externally and internally. The internal roof structure is also in old wood and the roof covering in traditional red cedar shingles. The ground floor of the restaurant is in Megève stone salvaged from the derelict building.
